Nico is a pace bowler who bats, he’s a sharp opening bowler currently playing for the Easterns Provincial side in South Africas 1st class competition. He made his debut in October 2022 and has now played 18 1st class games with 54 wickets at the excellent average of 25 each and with the bat he already has a high score of 71 not out showing he is adept with the blade in hand. Nico came to the UK 1st in 2022 to play for Springvale C.C. in the Staffordshire Cricket League and he was a huge success with 76 wickets at the brilliant average of 8.55 each and 1015 runs at an average of 59.65. This excellent season prompted Birmingham Premier League Powerhouses Walsall C.C. to secure his services for 2023. Nico has spent 2024/25 at Prestwich C.C. where he has been a big hit with wickets and runs plus 2 trophy laden seasons. No shock then when terms were agreed for his return in 2026.
