Heshan is a class top order batsman and useful off spin bowler. He plays his cricket for The Police Sports Club in Sri Lankas top 1st class competition. He averages over 32 with the bat and has a high score of 233. With the ball he has been used in every game of the 23/24 one day competition and grabbed some good scalps in the process. Heshan has been in the mix for international honours in recent seasons hence he hasn’t been available for the uk, until 2025 when he made his way to Lancashire to play for Ribblesdale Wanderers C.C. in the North West Cricket League where was a huge success with well over 1,000 runs and 72 wickets and it was no surpris ethat the club moved swiftly to re-sign him for 2026.
