Ali Hamid is a young all rounder who has just completed his 5th 1st class game playing for the Mashonaland Eagles in Zimbabwes 1st class competition. Hes a guy who has done it the hard way coming through the ranks and playing Zimbabwe U17s and U19s before churning out the runs for Powerhouse Club Old Hararians C.C and forcing his way into the 1st class side through sheer weight of runs. He has caused quite a stir in Zimbabwe cricket circles with his dashing batting displays with a series of flamboyant knocks. He averages almost 38 in the 1st class Format with 230 runs from his 6 innings thus far with 2 of those being well over 50 and a high of 84. Ali is also a very competent leg spinner with good variation and control. Ali is looking for a basic package for what will be his 1st trip to the UK and he will be fantastic value.
