Pawan is a young emerging batting allrounder, just 11 games into his 1st class career he already has close to 400 runs on the board and averages 26 with the bat he has 2 50s to his name already the latest being a vital 52 opening the batting against domestic powerhouses Ragama C.C. He plays for Panadura C.C. and is making a name for himself in SL domestic cricket. Whilst he is clearly primarily a batsman his bowling is also now being used more frequently and he fast/medium seamers have seen him achieve a one day average of just 24 per wicket. Not bad for an opening bat !! So its clear to see how effective he would be at UK League level. An absolute bargain for 2024.
