Asantha is a hugely experiend top order batsman who bowls good off spin. He has 2 centuries and 8 scores over 50 to his name and a high score of 110. He was something of a late bloomer and only made his debut in 1st class cricket in 2019 having previously been seen as a one day specialist. He has certainly made up for lost time with his impressive performances since then. Asanthas bowling has also been used at 1st class and one day level and he has chipped in with wickets and would certainly contribute at league level. An experienced batting all round a great guy and a top option for 2025
