Cameron is the brother of Calum and has followed a similar path through Jeppe High School in Johannesburg then on to Premier League Powerhouse Club Jeppe Quondam C.C. where he has firmly established himself in the 1st team with a series of impressive performances. Cameron came through the ranks in age group cricket and was recently selected for the Gauteng Province U19 Training camp from which their squad would be chosen however a niggling injury meant he had to miss the camp and now he must wait another year to try again. However this does show the high regard in which he is held. In 2022 Cameron travelled to the Bristol area to play for Rockhampton C.C. in the 1st division of the Gloucestershire County League and despite it being his 1st time in UK Conditions he made a big impression scoring 586 runs at an average of 31 with a high score of 130 and on top of that his pacey fast medium seamers garnered him 30 wickets in what was a highly promising 1st stint in the UK. With that experience under his belt Cameron signed for Wickford C.C. for 2023 and has a brilliant season with almost 1200 runs averaging a shade under 50 plus 36 wickets at an average of 20.75 each and he is certain to be a banker bet for runs and wickets on his return in 2024 and with his UK PASSPORT he represents a no hassle option too.
