Hareen is a spin bowling allrounder playing his cricket for Galle C.C. in the Sri Lankan domestic 1st class competition. He is a quite brilliant left arm spinner with a terrific record in 1st class cricket. He has all the attributes required to take wickets at any level, he is a big turner and has excellent skills. In Addition to his obvious ability with ball in hand he is a very good batsman also with several strong contributions at the top level. For the 2023 season Hareen came to the UK to play for Fulwood & Broughton C.C. in the strong Northern Premier League. He had a stand out debut season in the UK taking 77 wickets at the stunning average of 10.58 each with a best of 8-37 and also scored 634 runs with the blade. It was hardly a surprise when after such a stellar season interest in this super talented youngster heightened and despite fierce competition Ramsbottom Cricket Club secured his signature for the 2024 season in the Lancashire League.
