Rashmika is a class top order bat and a terrific wicketkeeper who can bowl a bit if required. He plays his 1 st class cricket for the powerful Kurengala C.C. Having previously played for Kandy C.C. and Burgher R.C. He averages a very healthy 29 with the bat a great start for a guy only 22 years of age. Rashmika is very highly rated in Sri Lanka with many top players recommending him as ideal for the UK League scene. With this in mind he signed for Dumbleton C.C. in the very strong West Of England Premier League in 2023 he cleared 500 runs averaging 30 kept wicket when required but also grabbed 25 wickets from just 70 overs averaging a brilliant 12 per wicket, clearly a genuine 3 dimensional player. If you add in the T20 and sunday cup games he was well over 1000 runs averaging 40 so a really strong 1st UK Season. Lots of improvement to come for this young talented player. A good lad who has his ECB Level 2 coaching certificate is a keen coach and will mix, socialise and generally fit in to club life
