Saminda Fernando is truly a 3 dimensional cricketer, he bats, he bowls and he keeps wicket. With the bat he averages a terrific 36 in 1st class cricket with 3 tons 18 scores over 50 and a high of 141. He has a handful of wickets with the ball but averages a miserly 21 and he has been keeping wicket very effectively in recent games. He is clearly a high quality player, no one averages 36 with the bat over a period of 44 games without being able to consistently deliver the goods. His bowling is clearly good and if any club needs a class keeper he can do that also. Hes looking for his 1st gig in the UK and hes certain to be much sought after.
