At 23 years old Adithya Siriwardenas best years are undoubtedly ahead of him but he hasn’t done too badly in the early stages of what promises to be a very good career. Adithya plays his cricket for The Sri Lankan Air Force 1st class side and he made his 1st class debut for them against the SL Navy in August of 2022, he made a brilliant start with a stunning 69 in the 1st dig then followed it up in the next game againt the Powerhouse Nondescripts CC with an unbeaten 49 and a couple of wickets in each innings with his excellent right arm leg spin, he has performed solidly since notching up another half century against Bloomfield C.C in October and he looks a real prospect. In 2024 Adi came to play for East Lancs C.C. in the strong Lancashire League and for his debut season he did a very solid job scoring 550 runs averaging 29 and taking 20 wickets from very few overs bowled with his improving leg spin. He now has his ECB Level 2 certificate has done lots of junior coaching this season and He will be much improved with that experience behind him and will not be looking for a big salary next year.
