A 23 year old batting all rounder currently playing 1st class cricket for the powerful Badureliya C.C. in Sri Lankans top tier of domestic cricket. Dunith has played just 8 1st class games but already has 3 half centuries and a high score of 94 to his name he averages a health mid 20s in 1st class and 50 Over cricket which when so early in his career is a very good effort. Dunith also bowls very good leg spin and whilst he has only bowled occasionally at 1st class level he will certainly be bowling much more as he gets established in the team. Dunith is a young highly talented hungry all rounder with a great attitude and work ethic and he showed all of this and more when he came to the UK in 2025 scoring in excess of 800 runs at a brilliant average of 49 plus 30 wickets with his improving off spin.
