Madura Madushanka is now 30 years old he is a top line genuine all rounder playing for Kandy C.C. in the Sri Lankan 1st class domestic competition. Madura has excellent stats he averages 44 in 50 over cricket with the bat and 23 with the ball in 1st class cricket back home. Madura is a free scoring top order bat with a wide range of shots his high score is 120 and he has another ton and 8 more scores over 50. With the ball he is a very adept off spinner with good variation. Madura has spent some time in Australia playing in the Victoria 1st grade in Melbourne and as you would expect from a class player he piled on the runs and also did well with the ball. Madura was heavily involved in coaching in Australia and is keen to fulfill a player/coach role here in the UK. In 2024Madura signed for North West Cricket League Club Brinscall C.C. he made a big impact scoring 850 runs averaging 42 and taking 55 wickets at 12 each, it was therefore no surprise that the club moved quickly to sign him for 2025.
